LastPass is simple to use, highly secure, and comes in both free and premium versions.
All data is encrypted using AES-256 bit encryption with PBKDF2 SHA-256 and salted hashes, not just passwords. You can also save credit card numbers, delivery addresses, encrypted notes, insurance policy details, and much more.
The free version of LastPass is excellent, but premium accounts are competitively priced and allow you to log into apps on your phone. Few password managers include this feature, which might help protect your emails and social media accounts if you ever lose your phone.
Its support for multi-factor authentication, which requires an additional form of authorization to enter into your accounts, such as a code produced by a mobile app or a fingerprint scan, is one of our favorite features. Even though it's becoming more common, not all sites and services offer it, so having your logins protected in this way is a big benefit.
However, starting of March 2021, LastPass Free customers will have to choose between mobile and desktop access, with the firm claiming only one type will be unlimited.
